If you are reading this, I want to say thank you for your interest in Epirus Ventures. I look forward to taking this a step further. Here is a brief introduction to saving time, give you hindsight of the opportunity, and also help you familiarise yourself with the company and its status Quo - “Building the Team”
What is Epirus Ventures all about?
Epirus Ventures is a bootstrapped startup that is intended to be an “investment company”. However, the term “investment company” is too broad as it applies to our company. To be specific, we are more of a Venture Capital (VC) and Private Equity (PE) company. Our mission is to empower entrepreneurship using an innovative approach that is much more diversified than traditional investment companies. To help us achieve this goal, we are focused on building a strong brand, raising awareness, and laying the foundation for future collaborations - basically creating an environment for sustainable growth. There is so much to be done, but it all begins with a strong team - individuals capable of filling roles in marketing and communication. Are you interested? If so;
Here are some things to consider
Working at a startup can sometimes be chaotic and challenging but extremely rewarding. Although not everything has been nailed yet, you’ll find yourself in good company with lots of room for professional development and personal growth. My aim is to create an appreciative and collaborative environment for the team with a lot of responsibility from day one, empowering everyone to help shape a very young company. I’m hoping to find passionate and dedicated people who understand the potential this opportunity has, ultimately enjoying what they will be doing.
Our Hiring process
As a company, we value and express honesty, hard work, respect, and fairness. We hope that these qualities are dear to you too. If they are, you must understand the need to give us candid and unexaggerated answers throughout the hiring process. There are four stages in our hiring process.
Stage 1 - Send a Cover Letter, detailing why you're a good fit for the company, your prospective role in it, and what you think about our overall mission. Please attach relevant credentials and (if available) past projects you've worked on. You can reach back to us at hello@epirus.vc or on LinkedIn with your response.
Stage 2 - We will review your application to determine if you are a good fit.
Stage 3 - If you are considered fit for the job, then you will get a call from a member of our team. Date and time will be communicated to you in a timely manner. After the call, you should receive feedback from us within 48 hours regarding your application progress.
Stage 4 - If you successfully scaled through stage 3, then you will be assigned a paid trial job.
Candidates who make it past this stage will be given a full-time contract with the company.
Kindly note that not making it to the final stage does not mean we do not recognize your talent. Applications are highly competitive and we would be selecting just a few of the very best for the job. By doing so, we must (unfortunately) let go of some very talented individuals. But as a sign of good faith, we would remain in touch with every applicant and if a position opens up in the future you will be among the first to be notified.
Your turn!
I would really love to hear your thoughts on this, and whether or not you see yourself working for Epirus Ventures. If the answer is yes, how would you contribute to this venture? Do you see yourself in a leading position and why?
Also, due to the nature of a bootstrapped startup, we have to keep an eye on the budget. Therefore, salary is a factor we have to consider. Keep in mind that startups can have a huge upside and salaries will be renegotiated once we hit our milestones.
With that being said, could you give me a hint (preferably a range) regarding your preferred salary?
Finally!!
To know more about Epirus Ventures, feel free to explore our website: https://www.epirus.vc, or reach out to us directly. Also, connect with us on social media to stay abreast of new job opportunities within the company and to follow our journey.
This is a full-time opportunity, however, we could negotiate a part-time or freelance contract if I deem the situation beneficial to the company.
Thank you for your time.
Yours Sincerely
Alexandros Christidis
